A Little Bit Too Late

I'm a bit late with my post (well I'd been late with my posts for over a month now... but do be patient with me, I promise I'll be a good blogger soon) considering today's weather (boiling!) and my outfit in this post. The photos were taken few days ago and it wasn't as humid as today, quite the contrary actually. But I'm running late with everything in my life so hey, why would I blog on time?!

Somerset House

My first visit to Somerset House in London was in July 2007. I remember the exact month because it was when my favorite band played in there (and I remember stalking them before the concert with my friend from Poland). At that time I didn't know that I would be living just 3 minutes away from this glorious building. I don't visit it often but when I do I'm always amazed how open and friendly it is for it's visitors. Today it was pretty quiet but usually at this time of year (and if the weather is nice) the courtyard is full of people enjoying a cool breeze from those little fountains (that you can see behind me) emerging from the ground.

And if you're a fashion lover you already know that Somerset House is the place where most of the fashion shows are being held during London Fashion Week.

Green With Envy

It's my day off. And I'm doing absolutely nothing. I had a ready meal from my local supermarket (naughty me) and for a dessert I had a Cadbury bar (ugh I'm getting even naughtier) that flew to me straight from South Africa today. How did it end up in my room in the middle of London, England? Well my friend just came back from her three weeks African holiday. Jealous much? Nahh...

You're A Flower Too

It's been such a lovely couple of days in London. Sunny, warm, just full of life. We had a small picnic in St. James's Park (there is nothing better than hamous and some bread nom, nom, nom) and then my friend Monika took these photos of me.

I got this jumpsuit maybe two years ago from Beyond Retro and I'd worn it once, well yesterday was the second time. Don't get me wrong, it's a great jumpsuit, the fabric is great and it fits me perfectly but the pattern was just too crazy for my taste (Monika is probably chocking on her coffee while reading this. I suppose she's witnessed crazier things on me). But I found it yesterday in my closet and I think the sun got into me because I decided to wear it and teamed it with Zara jacket. And the jacket is not a boring one either. So it was flowery and psychedelic crazy afternoon and I loved it. I'm gonna wear this jumpsuit all summer long if the weather is kind enough.

Maxi Coupling

I'm not a big talker and I will probably never be. So lets get straight to the point. I like maxi trend. Big trousers, long dresses, sweeping floor skirts, oversized blazers. It's so comfortable... And this is my variation of the maxi trend. Enjoy!
